Our Aim
RenCare Homes' aim is to make a lasting and lifelong difference to all the children and young people in our care. We strive to provide normality, build confidence and most of all ensure our children and young people have a fair chance at life. We work with fairness, openness, integrity, and accountability, and we expect that from our professionals working with us too. Our residential placements focus on a child-centred approach whilst empowering children and families to access a safe and fulfilling future. Attention to detail, outstanding personalised programmes, and specialist training is provided to our carers. Our staff support our aim of improving the self-esteem, confidence, life chances, achievements, and placement stability of every young person in our care. RenCare Homes aspires to be an employer that reflects the flamboyant society in which we live, and to provide positive role models that reflect the diversity of the young people we care for. We have a comprehensive Safer Recruitment Policy and Equality and Diversity Policy. Inclusivity is being considered throughout the development of our recruitment system. This involves removing protected characteristics data before shortlisting is undertaken, to minimise unconscious bias. Above all, we aim to ensure that all employees will be provided the same concern, respect, and caring attitude within the organisation.
RenCare Homes stretches far above serving as an ‘accommodation’. Our main objective is to assist and help develop confidence, self awareness, optimism and ultimately setting up our young person for a better chance of success.
Our vision is to provide outstanding care to all of our young persons irrespective of their diagnosis. We thrive and aim to make a positive difference and improve outcomes for all vulnerable children and adolescents alike. We believe every child deserves a chance for a better future and with the correct support at Zion’s Place we are confident we can achieve this together.
Channelling hope and selflessness to our children and young persons allows them to see that life offers endless possibilities regardless of their circumstances and vulnerabilities. We must understand the harsh reality and challenges that some of our children and young persons have faced and demonstrate patience, empathy and a commitment to help them achieve their full potential.
